PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce preformat information both by a read-only ROM player and a RAM for recording and reproducing by preliminary forming the preformat information on a substrate by two methods such as the information are recorded as the pattern of a prepit string and are superposed by meanderingly wobbling the patterns and pregrooves. SOLUTION: Prepit strings and pregrooves being on an optical information recording medium are arranged in helical form and address information superposed on the pregrooves are made continuous. Moreover, the preformat information superposed by wobbling prepit strings and the preformat information recorded with the pattern of the prepit string include information equivalent each other and also address information have the same address number values. When the medium is made to have such a constitution, even in the case the preformat information is reproduced from the pattern of the prepit string and in the case the pregrooves and the prepit strings are meanderingly wobbled, the preformat information can be reproduced. |
