PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To judge the generation notification or suppression of an event including plural alarms and status changes generated due to the operation and monitoring of a plant at real time. SOLUTION: Suppression time is added to master-slave relation between plural related events, the suppression time added master-slave relation is previously defined as event correlation 400, and when a certain event is generated, the correlation 400 is read out and whether the generated event is a master event or a slave event is judged (steps S1 to S3). When the event is a master even or the event is a slave event but its related main event is not generated within the suppression time, an operator is informed of the judged result and generation time is recorded (step S6).
