PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably protect an object lens from being tilted by installing a shaft which is composed of magnetic material and supports the movable section shaft-slidably, a magnetic body which is disposed to generate a definite magnetic interaction with the shaft and also a sleeve at the movable section supporting the shaft. SOLUTION: In an optical pickup of this form, the shaft 8 is composed of magnetic material and a pre-pressurizing magnet 11 is embedded in a part of the sleeve 12. Further, the outer peripheral surface of the shaft 8 and the inner peripheral surface of the sleeve 12 are made very even. For this reason, the shaft 8 is attracted to the inner peripheral surface of the sleeve 12 on the side where the magnet 11 is embedded so as to stablize the condition of contact to this inner peripheral surface. This condition is unchanged even when the magnet 11 inside the sleeve 12 is at any position of the shaft 8. |
