摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pointer-type electronic clock with magnetic field measuring function which prevents dynamic magnetic field change occurring during driving of a two poles step-motor for displaying time from affecting measurement of azimuth or others, and executes correct measurement even when components such as a step motor are placed close to a magnetic sensor. SOLUTION: Because a pointer-type electronic clock with magnetic field measuring function synchronizes driving of a two poles step-motor 104 for displaying time with measurement of azimuth by a magnetic sensor 109 and performs them at different timing, dynamic magnetic field change occurring during driving of the step motor does not affect measurement of zimuth. Because the clock measures azimuth only when the pole position of the rotor in the two poles step-motor 104 is in specific condition and does not measure it at any other case, initial condition is set so that result detected by the magnetic sensor 109 is adequately corrected according to a specific condition of the pole position of the rotor.
