T-blade assembly sub-divides bar of sugar into cubes with irregular sides
摘要
A T-blade assembly sub-divides an elongated bar of cane sugar into cubes. The length of the bar is several times that of the cubes, and the bar width is twice that of the cubes. The cubes are cut by a blade which travels in the cutting direction. The novelty is that: (a) the blade (3) is T-shaped; (b) blade moves in the axis of the centre-part (4) towards the T (2) cross-bar, and (c) the T cross-bar (3) is slightly longer than and slightly in advance of the centre-bar (4).
