Protector for horse's hoof

The hoof protector for hoofed animals, and especially horses, has a shaped section matching the anatomy of the hoof rear, with an upper closure (12) to pass round the ankle joint. The lower section has a tongue (20) which, when in place, lies in the open end of the horseshoe. The closure (12) is a strap with a contact bonding strip. The shaped section (10) is of a hard plastics material, with inner padding, to cover the rear of the hoof leaving the front open.
