The dishwasher includes a control arrangement, in which at least one parameter necessary for the washing process and influenced through it, is selectable in a predetermined range defined at least through maximum and minimum values. The parameter is adjusted by the control arrangement (2) within the preselected range limits, for the continuation of the wash process depending on at least one parameter recorded by each device of a sensor arrangement. A predetermined range is selected at activation of the dishwasher without preselection of range.
