The invention relates to a continuous paper for manufacturing paper products with punched lines perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the continuous paper. The continuous paper can be folded along said punched lines, wherein the punched lines are spaced according to the sum of the width of a full section and a cut when seen perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the continuous paper. In order to reduce a tendency towards skewed piling, the spacing in the area of the border areas of the continuous paper is decreased in relation to the remaining areas of said continuous paper. The invention further relates to a method for producing continuous paper and a device to implement said method.
