Implant and insert for human jaw or tooth

The secondary part is used for surgery on the human jaw. The implant (1) may be inserted into a human tooth or a human jaw and is hollow. The inner surface has a female thread (3). An insert (4) has a male thread (5) which may screw into the female thread. The bottom of the insert is closed, and the top part above the female thread is tapered outwards to form a cone (6). The top part of the insert is of frustoconical shape and fits closely inside the conical top of the implant. The inset has an outward-projecting collar or flange at the top. A swivelling ball (10) fits into a hemispherical cup in the top of the insert. It carries an upward-extending post (11) which is connected to the secondary part of the assembly.
