The electrical connector lug has a main body of insulating material 1 and this a formed hole to receive the end of a cable 6 . Formed at right angles to the hole are a pair of slots 9 and into these are inserted pressed metal contact blades 2. The blades have forked ends that spread to grip and make contact with the cable. The other ends are forked to receive connecting pins.
