Paint formulation for objectively-predictable and quantified coating appearance

A novel method is used to manufacture a paint. This forms a coating with predetermined optical characteristics e1, e2, ..., en, ..., ey. The paint components a1, a2, ..., an, ..., az produce optical effects with optical characteristic parameters p1, p2, ..., pn, ..., px associated with the paint components cited above. These components are admixed in concentrations c1, c2, ..., cn, ..., cz with a practically optically-neutral binder. The concentrations are calculated using a physical model of a coating made from the paint with air/coating interface and internal optical characteristics arising from visible ray emission processes, with consideration of the characteristic parameters allocated to the paint components, and adjustment in a mixing stage. The physical model is based on simulation of trajectories of a number of virtual primary photons radiated into the virtual coating with the given characteristics.
