<p>The system includes retaining elements (3,4) fixed on the ski interact with movable bolt elements (6) on the boot. The bolt elements are releasable solely through movements and forces between the boot parts and for controllable release through relative movements or forces between the upper (7) or foot shell (8) of the boot (2) and the sole (5) of the boot which is movable restricted relative to the upper or foot shell against elastic resistance. The flexible boot sole is held substantially fixed on the ski when the bolt parts interact with the retaining elements on the ski in the locked position. The control members for operating the bolt parts are stored hermetically sealed inside the boot.</p>
