Date Jun. 8, 1995A safety belt carrier unit for mounting on a vehicle anchorage has a carrier unit and functional parts of a safety belt system connected to the carrier unit, wherein at least one of said functional parts is displaceable relative to the carrier unit. Upon mounting the carrier unit on the vehicle anchorage, the at least one functional part becomes operatively connected to the vehicle anchorage upon displacement relative to the carrier unit.
