PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outboard engine wherein various auxiliary machines and part items are rationally disposed in its peripheral side surface without any interference therebetween. SOLUTION: An outboard engine comprises a casing 2 attached to a hull via a bracket, an engine cover 3 attached to the upper surface of the casing 2 so as to detached and an engine disposed in an engine room 4 composed of the casing 2 and the engine cover 3 by arranging a crankshaft 11 in the vertical direction and having at least three cylinders 8. In this case, an oil pan is disposed in the lower side of the crank room 22 of an engine, an oil pump is provided in the lower part of the cylinder head 20 of the engine, an intake pipe 31 having an intake device 30 is disposed along one side of the engine, a plurality of ignition coils 48 are disposed on the side face of the other end of the engine side by side up and down and separately from a CDI unit 46 and an oil filter 40 is provided in the lower side of the ignition coil 48. |
