A composition for treating agricultural substrates containing: (a) an agricultural adjuvant selected from the group consisting of micro-nutrients, pesticides, plant growth regrulators, biological agents and mixtures thereof; (b) a fixative composition containing: (i) an alkyl polyglycoside having formula I: RO(Z)a (I) wherein R is a monovalent organic radical having from about 6 to about 30 carbon atoms; Z is a saccharide residue having 5 or 6 carbon atoms; and a is a number having a value from about 1 to about 6, and (ii) a fatty acid having from about 6 to about 22 carbon atoms, and (c) remainder, up to 100%, of a liquid carrier.
