PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a non-halogen flame-retardant resin compsn. having good impact resistance. SOLUTION: This flame-retardant compsn. comprises: 100 pts.wt. rubber- modified styrene resin (A) satisfying property requirements (1) and (2); and 5 to 150 pts.wt. non-halogen flame retardant (B) incorporated therein: (1) a rubbery polymer content of the resin of 10 to 16wt.%; and (2) an L (length between rubber particles), defined by the following formula, of 0<L<0.7μm: L=d0 (π/0.06Φ)<1/3> -1} (wherein d0 represents volume average rubber particle diameter (μm) andΦrepresents gel content (wt.%) of the resin). The volume average rubber particle diameter of the rubber particles in the component (A) is preferably 0.8 to 2.5μm.
