摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for highly accurately detecting a torque fluctuation amount for an internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: A torque fluctuation amount detector comprises a combustion pressure sensor 13 for detecting a pressure in a combustion chamber 5, a storing means 28 for storing a pressure in the combustion chamber detected for each crank angle, a momentary torque calculating means for calculating momentary torque from a combustion pressure-torque conversion factor using the crank angle as a parameter and pressures detected for a plurality of crank angles during a combustion process, a torque calculating means for calculating torque by adding together a plurality of momentary torques calculated for respective combustion cycles by the momentary torque calculating means and a torque fluctuation amount calculating means for calculating a torque fluctuation amount based on a combustion cycle before a prescribed number of times and a current combustion cycle. A pressure in the combustion chamber 5 is detected after the end of combustion where no heat influence is given to the combustion pressure sensor 3, torque calculated by the torque calculating means is corrected based on the detected pressure and a combustion pressure-torque conversion factor corresponding to a crank angle during detection, and then a torque fluctuation amount is detected based on the corrected torque.
