PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject robust, smooth and dampish nonwoven fabric widely usable in the form of sanitary goods or hair/skin care goods because of having antimicrobial effect. SOLUTION: This wet-type nonwoven fabric 1 is obtained by arranging polypropylene fiber having strong and persistent antimicrobial effect as core and, around it, a fibrous form 2 provided with polyethylene fiber for welding, polyester fiber for improving feel, and polyvinyl alcohol 3 for suppressing fluffing, and forming the resultant composite in planar shape by use of water or the like followed by heating into a sheet or roll form which is then coated with an antistatic agent 4. |
