<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a golf club head which allows the free adjustment of a centroid position, facilitates production and is excellent in wear resistance at its base as well and a process for producing the same. SOLUTION: The parts inclusive of the base of the golf club head are first produced by aluminum or aluminum alloy. On the other hand, a member 12 having the sp. gr. larger than the sp. gr. of the aluminum or aluminum alloy is worked to a shape complying with the outer shape of the base part position to which the member is affixed. The resulted member 12 is then affixed and integrated to the outside surface of the part inclusive of the bottom and thereafter, the part inclusive of the bottom and the other part are joined and integrated, by which the golf club head affixed with the member 12 on the outside surface of the base of the golf club head body 10 consisting of the aluminum or aluminum alloy is obtd.</p> |
