PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an index for discriminating the danger of the patient's heart on the outside of a body by performing the detrend fluctuation analysis of electric signals by a signal analysis means connected to a sensor means arranged inside a casing and obtaining a self similarity parameter to the electric signals. SOLUTION: Inside the casing 1 of a pace maker implanted to a subject for instance, a sensor signal detector 11 fetches the detection signals of a pressure sensor 6 installed to the heart 2 and a detector 9 fetches ventricle activity. One of both signals is selected in a switching stage 12, inputted to a signal adjustment device 13, adjusted to the signal for analysis and sent to an integrator 14. The detrend fluctuation analysis is started in the integrator 14. The self similarity parameterαis obtained through linear calculation by a linear adaptation unit 15 and the calculation of a calculation unit 16 and a gradient calculation unit 18 and is sent to a control unit 8. A doctor reads it through a telemetry unit 19 and displays the index at an external programming device 20. Thus, the index is recognized on the outside of the body.
