<p>The invention concerns a new urate oxidase activity protein which has the sequence (I), possibly preceeded by a methionine, or in that it may present a degree of substantial homology with this sequence. The invention is also aimed at medicines containing this protein, as well as the genetic engineering implements to obtain it.</p>
