PHARMACEUTICAL PREPARATION CONTAINING TROSPIUM CHLORIDE, ITS PREPARATION AND USE THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To treat a vesical urinary passage-based insufficiency by administration by patient without depending on doctor, etc., by mixing trospium chloride with an aqueous solvent immediately before administration, adjusting pH of the solution to a specific value and directly administering the solution into a bladder by a catheter. SOLUTION: A two components-based system composed of one component comprising a solid or liquid-like trospium chloride active substance and another component comprising an aqueous solvent for dissolving or diluting the former component (e.g. sodium chloride solution containing 0.9wt.% NaCl) is used and both components are mixed immediately before administration and pH of the solution is adjusted to >=4.5, preferably 5.0-7.5 to provide the germ-free aqueous solution. The germ-free aqueous solution is directly administered into a bladder by a bladder catheter to treat vesical urinary passage-based insufficiency.
