PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a stack of a sheet sheaf from falling so AS to be able to stack the sheet sheaf in large quantity and avoid interruption of work caused by sheet treatment capacity by vertically moving the stapled sheet sheaf, continuously conveyed and stacked in order, while detecting the uppermost part, and determining upward moving distance by time and specified speed to stop movement. SOLUTION: When a sheet sheaf after being stapled is conveyed by a conveying gripper 12, and enclosed and stacked in a stacking unit 13, a stacking tray is lowered, and upon detecting the off state of a pair of sensors S23 for detecting the uppermost face of the stacked sheet sheaf, the action of a stacking tray elevating motor is stopped. The stacking tray is then moved up, and stop control during upward action is changed according to the treated state, kind and size of the sheet sheaf stacked in the stacking unit 13. As a result, the sheet sheaf with treatment such as bending and stapling applied to sheets can be stacked in large quantity, and interruption of treatment of an image forming device or the like caused by the treatment capacity of a sheet treatment device can be reduced. |
