PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To consider such a countermeasure that, when an air component collected with a water filter catches fire, the fire does not spread to a ceiling part of a cooking room from a sucking duct of a range hood, in a water filter type oil component removing device. SOLUTION: A first water feed means for replenishing city water to keep a fixed quantity of water in a water tank 4 at a normal operational time, is provided and a second water feed means for feeding a large quantity of city water at a fire extinguishing operational time is provided, and a water discharge device 14 is provided in the water tank to discharge it outside. The water discharge device 14 is provided with a first overflow discharge means provided at a first water level and a second overflow discharge means at a second water level higher than the first water level. At a normal operation time, water discharge work is performed by the first overflow water discharge means, and water filter is maintained at an opened state, while at a fire extinguishing operation time, water discharge work is performed with the second overflow water discharge means, and the water filter is closed by utilizing ascending of the water level. |
