<p>Lining for a heating chamber submitted to brief-extremes of temp. and high velocity blasts of gas - fuel/air mixture, esp. those obtained using a plasma arc, comprises a refractory material fixed to the casing either by being cast monolithically onto a stainless steel casing having welded onto it fish-tailshaped crampons, or as blocks retained by welded on metal tie bars. The refractory may be Al2O3, MgO, ZrO2, BeO, SrZrO3, a refractory concrete or a carbide, silicate, nitride, or intermetallic cpd.</p> |
