PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer in which the temperature in the vicinity of the end part of a head can be substantially equalized to the temperature in the vicinity of the central part of the head and fluctuation of density due to uneven temperature of the head can be suppressed. SOLUTION: Fig. B is the front view of a print head viewed from the ink jet port side. Heat dissipation fins 601 are provided in the center on the base plate 101 of the print head so that the central part of the print head, where the temperature increases easily during print operation, has a higher heat dissipation amount than the peripheral part. |
