The invention relates to an apparatus (1) for dispensing metered amounts (2') of food products in an automated manner, being of a type intended for installation at retail sales outlets, such as stores, food shops, and the like, which have at least one outside wall or shop window. The apparatus comprises a box-type structure (4) installed against the outer wall, or shop window, and provided with at least one control panel (6) which can be accessed by a customer from outside the shop. A product delivery bin (9) is provided in the structure (4), and means (16, 17, 18) of picking up a metered amount (2') of the product from a storage space (11, 12) within the structure and releasing (22) the metered amount (2') of the product into the delivery bin (9) on command from the control panel (6). |
