Vehicle air conditioning system via positionable valves

The controls include a valve (22,24) actuator (30) remotely adjusted between the two ends of its actuating path (C) so as to exert a cam action on the valves via mechanisms (36,38) in order to swivel both valves in coordination between a first end condition (P1) where they isolate or close off the air circulation. In their second end position (P5) the valves isolate or ensure maximum circulation. In an intermediate position (P3) both valves are set to respectively open and close the air circulation. The actuator (30) swings round a fixed axis (32) lying parallel to those (26,28) of the two valves. The valve axis in each case lies between the opposing edges of the valve cooperating with surfaces of the housing so as to limit outside (AE) and circulating air (AR) inlets. The actuator acts on valve (22) via cam (38) profile (46) and follower finger (44) mounted on the lever (37) connected to the valve (22).
