A novel label covers information (5). It has one or more base- (1) and covering- (2) layers. The covering layer is removed by rubbing. Removal is irreversible, and reveals the covered information. The covering layer (2) contains at least one pressure-sensitive adhesive. Also claimed is a method of covering the information, where the label may be preferably attached to a document.
