摘要 The method involves determining a height of a current point with known X and Y values in a work area which is defined in a data base through a triangular, irregular network consisting of a number of points. Each point comprises known values for X, Y, and a height, and is associated with a set of points of the network to form triangles. A first point of the network is chosen, and a second, a third, and a fourth point are chosen from an associated set of points, according to a predetermined rule. The first and fourth points are compared, and the respective four points are shifted upwards, in case of inequality. If the points are equal, the height of the point is determined from a predetermined function of the first, the second, and the third point.
