The acceleration sensor has several separable and non-mixable media (A,B,C). One medium (A) at the most is gaseous, and the remaining media (B,C) are liquid. The media form at least one phase interface (11,12). Detection facilities (13) with the occurrence of an acceleration, determine the position alteration of the phase interface, for the gradual determination of the acceleration. The at least three separable and non-mixable media are provided, and at least two of which are liquid media (B,C). The media between them form at least two phase interfaces independent from each other. The detection facilities determine the positional alteration of the phase interfaces to each other.
