PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a lumpy toner from being supplied to a developing device by making the biting quantity of a projecting part to a sponge roller larger than the cell size of the sponge used for the sponge roller. SOLUTION: When the sponge roller 19c supported near a toner discharge port 19b is rotated in a direction shown by an arrow, the prescribed quantity of toner 20 stored in a toner container 19a is fed out through the toner discharge port 19b by the sponge roller 19c. As for the sponge constituting the sponge roller 19c, individually and independently formed foam 19e is used for the sponge, and also, the biting quantity of the projecting part 19d to the sponge roller 19c is set larger than the cell size of the sponge. Thus, the biting quantity of the projecting part 19d to the sponge roller 19c is increased, then, even in the case the lumpy toner 20b gets into the sponge, a satisfactory pressure is applied to the lumpy toner 20b to disintegrate the lumpy toner 20b, into toner particles 20a. |
