METHOD FOR ASSAYING HUMAN ALPHA2-PLASMIN INHIBITOR AND MEASURING KIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assaying method and a measuring kit for a humanα2 -plasmin inhibitor (humanα2 -PI) which enables correct and quick measurement in a wide range with high sensitivity without bringing about a coagulation because of a nonspecific reaction and without requiring dilution. SOLUTION: A sample and an anti humanα2 -PI antibody sensitized on latex particles are mixed in a solution, whereby a coagulation reaction because of an antigen-antibody reaction is brought about. A humanα2 -PI in the sample is assayed by measuring a changing amount of an absorbance. In the assaying method, a concentration of the latex particles in the solution is 0.03-3wt.% and at least one of polyethylene glycol of 3000-1000000 average molecular weight and polyvinyl pyrrolidone of 3000-1500000 average molecular weight is included in the solution by 0.1-5wt.%. The coagulation reaction is proceeded for five seconds - 15 minutes at a constant temperature. The changing amount of the absorbance is an increasing amount of the absorbance consequent to the coagulation reaction.
