PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure sealability between a plate and a valve, and reduce a manufacturing cost by energizing a rod to the side of a thermal sensing member while abutting an operation chamber side end of the rod against a pressing member, and regulating movement of the rod to the outside of a housing by means of a flange. SOLUTION: A cock member 27 is arranged for mounting a rod 22 on a bush 13 while being axially energized. Axial dislocation can be thus eliminated without arranging a ball bearing between the rod 22 and a housing 14. Sealability between a plate 18 and a valve means 23 can be secured, while a viscous fluid joint device with a low cost can be provided. The cock member 27 as a pressing member is fixed to the bush 13 for regulating axial movement of the rod 22 without interfering with the plate 18. Sealability between the plate 18 and the valve means 23 can be kept with certainty. |
