PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the data communication system and the power supply method in the data communication system in which inconvenience of a limited device of a connection object is avoided so as to enhance the conventionality and the reliability and the convenience are improved. SOLUTION: The capacity of the power supply required by a power supply receiver is informed to a power supply device 101, the informed power supply capacity is stored in a storage section 108 and an entire processing section 107 discriminates whether or not the power supply capacity is in excess of the power supply capability of the power supply device 101 and when the power supply capacity is not in excess of the power supply capability of the power supply device 101, the power supply device 101 supplies power to the power supply receiver and when in excess, no power supply is supplied from the power supply device 101 to the power supply receiver. |
