PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a freight car for bulk material which can change a bulk material conveying direction at a minimum cost and with remodeling. SOLUTION: This freight car 2 for bulk material, which is connected so as to be a freight train consisting of a plurality of cars 1, involves a top-open storage box 10 fitted onto a body frame 4 so as to store the bulk material. A bottom conveyor mechanism 5 which extends in the longitudinal direction of the car is provided in the lower area of the storage box 10, and is formed with two deflection ends 6, 7 fitted at a mutually separated interval toward the conveying direction in a longitudinal direction, and is formed into an endless shape. A conveyance conveyor mechanism 14 is also provided between the two storage boxes 10, which is disposed so as to incline by a prescribed angle to the bottom conveyor mechanism 5 and is protruded from the body frame 4. The separate conveyor mechanism 14 operates together with the deflection ends 6, 7 of the bottom conveyor mechanism 5 respectively so as to reverse a bulk material conveying direction. |
