IP MULTI-CAST SERVICE SYSTEM AND ITS ADDRESS ASSIGNMENT METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To process dynamically internet protocol(IP) multi-cast address assignment/release processing in the IP multi-cast service. SOLUTION: An IP multi-cast address management section 1 placed in a network 2 manages IP multi-cast addresses used in the IP multi-cast service and has a means that assigns/releases the IP multi-cast address. The assignment/ release of the IP multi-cast service is conducted between transmission hosts 11-13 and the IP multi-cast address management section 1 via the network 2.
