PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to conduct an extremely high-responsible document archiving. SOLUTION: This system is an automatic archiving system for providing an extremely high-responsible document arching (archive), and a document scanned or printed in the operating process of an office equipment is automatically archived therein. For example, a local area network(LAN) in office mutually connects a copying machine 106, a printer 112, a facsimile device 110 and a document management work station 108. Whenever a document is copied, printed or facsimiled, the document picture is archived by the document management work station 108 without making through further user's operation. A document is archived as well as copied, stored as well as printed, or archived as well as facsimiled, by a single user's instruction.
