<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical element having both of a function for synthesizing the lights projected from at least two light sources of wavelengths different from each other, and a function for separating the projected and received light, and to provide a coaxial type optical sensor device using the optical element, which is compact and of a low cost. SOLUTION: The optical element 4 is provided with a coated surface 5a having transmits the most of the light emitted from LED 3a, and reflects a part of the light emitted from the LED 3b, and a cost face 5b having a coating which reflects a part of the light emitted from the both LEDs 3a, 3b, and transmits a part of the same, and the coated faces 5a, 5b cross each other in a cube. By using this composition, a function for synthesizing two lights, and a function for separating the projected and received light can be realized without using a lens, a half mirror or the like, so that an optical sensor device 1 can be made compact, and the cost can be reduced.</p> |
