PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject filler capable of being compounded to rubber products to improve their durability and solve problems such as low conductivity and processability, and useful for rubber compositions for tires, etc., by adhering an alkoxysilyl group-having compound to a specific filler. SOLUTION: This filler is obtained by adhering (B) an alkoxysilyl group- having compound e.g. a silane coupling agent containing a group of the formula:≡Si-OR [R is a monovalent 1-18C (substituted) hydrocarbon group or a monovalent ether bond-containing organic group], having a number-average mol.wt. of 200-100000 and capable of being used together with the silica in rubber compositions} to (A) a filler whose surface is formed from both (A1 ) carbon black and (A2 ) silica (e.g. the component A2 is adhered in an amount of 0.1-50wt.%, preferably 0.3-30wt.%, per 100wt.% of the component A1 ). The component B is adhered in an amount of e.g. 0.1-10wt.%, preferably 0.3-8wt.%, per 100wt.% of the component A1 .
