The device has a mirror glass fastened to a holder, with both contained in a mirror frame. The frame is fastened to a cover via a locking connection with locking elements (7,8), which are in relatively adjustable positions. The elements consist of a tongue (8) with barbs, and a sleeve (6) with a barbed flap (7), which projects into the tongue interior, so that the barbs engage. The elements may be a tongue or peg of deformable material, and a metal mandrel, located in a sleeve and projecting into it, so that tye mandrel cuts into the deformable material, when locked together.
