The racemic mixture obtained by the above process may be resolved by treating it with optically active bases, for example, cinchonidine or (-)-α-phenyl-ethylamine. Pharmaceutical compositions, suitable for eneteral, parenteral or topical administration and having analgesic and anti-inflammatory activity, contain the above novel compound or salts thereof in admixture with pharmaceutically acceptable carriers. |
