A radiator 1 comprises a radiator block 2 and water tanks 3, at least one of the tanks 3 having a round or oval cutout 5 which serves as an inlet opening for combustion air. A connector 6 attaches the cutout 5 to an intake line for feeding the combustion air to an engine. This arrangement results in a simpler construction and fitting and reduces problems of space which allows a larger area for the fitting of attachment elements 7, thereby providing stable fixing of the radiator 1. The attachment elements also enables the radiator to serve, at the same time, as a supporting part for an air-conditioning condenser, a charge-air heat exchanger and/or an extractor fan. The water tank 3 is provided with connection 8 for cooling the transmission oil and connection 9 for venting the radiator 1.
