The luggage rack has a frame and two fastener devices. The second fastener device (36) has two support elements (46), which engage into a groove (40) of the tailgate (22), and are secured in this position by two holders. Each of these engages behind a side edge (76) of the tailgate opposite to the support elements. Each holder may also have a holder bracket (62) engaging behind the tailgate, and a tension element (80), to lock support and tension elements together. Each support element is rigidly connected to the frame, and each has an elastic support (54).
