This polymerizable composition for optical materials contains (A) at least one polythiol which is selected from among 5,7-dimercaptomethyl-1,11-dimercapto-3,6,9-trithiaundecane, 4,7-dimercaptomethyl-1,11-dimercapto-3,6,9-trithiaundecane and 4,8-dimercaptomethyl-1,11-dimercapto-3,6,9- trithiaundecane, (B) a polyisocyanate, and (C) one or more ultraviolet absorbents, each of which has a maximum absorption peak within the range of from 350 nm to 370 nm (inclusive). |
