Smooth metal walls, walls of bent metal construction and hollow-body walls made from metal with projection welding

The walls with stub pipes have these pipes welded into the walls using all-around projections. The pipes have a flange or a bead all around which serves as an all-around resistance weld for these projections. Before welding, the walls have round or otherwise shaped openings which are bent over all around. The pipes with round or otherwise shaped cross-sections are plugged into a uniform and approximately equally sized opening in a metal wall and are rigidly supported on the flange or bead of the pipe.
