The connector is designed to link two parallel hollow separators or branches for at least two layers of glass, and which are formed from shaped rails (A,B) insulated (E) from each other. It has parallel limbs which are separated from each other, and which extend in the longitudinal direction of the shaped rails. The limbs are connected by a transverse buffer rib (4), which the end faces (8,9) of the rails butt against when the separators are linked.
