A two-part female connector (20, 30), attachable to a pipe (p1) for receiving a male connector (10) of a second pipe (p2), includes an inner core (20) with a socket (21) for receiving the male connector (10) of the second pipe (p2), and an outer sleeve (30) enclosing the core (20) and movable to a locking position or to a releasing position with respect to the male connector (10). The sleeve (30) is biassed to its locking position with respect to the core (20) and includes elastic locking arms (31, 32) carrying locking teeth (33, 34) having diverging sides which wedge between the inner core (20) and the male connector (10) when the locking arms (31, 32) are in their locking position. |
