PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To convert three-dimensional video information from, for example, a broadcasting station into a three-dimensional video signal with which a stereoscopic display device on a user terminal side produces an excellent stereoscopic effect by reproducing the video information from the broadcasting station of the digital broadcasting system according to control information for video reproduction from the broadcasting station. SOLUTION: The user-side terminal receives video data, audio and sound data, control data for stereoscopy effect adjustment, and data for sound image control from the broadcasting station and after digital demodulation, a demultiplexing circuit 13 separates stereoscopic video data, audio and sound data, control data for stereoscopic effect adjustment, and data for sound image control. The video data are decoded and sent to the stereoscopic display device 16 through a stereoscopic effect adjusting circuit 15. The circuit 15 adjusts the parallax between a left-eye video signal and right-eye video signal, pixel by pixel, according to the control data of stereoscopic effect adjustment. Further, the audio and sound data are decoded by an audio and sound decoder 17 and sent to left and right speakers 19 and 20 through a sound image control circuit 18. |
