<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust preventing device for a swivel joint whereby foreign matter can be prevented from infiltrating in the swivel joint. SOLUTION: In a slide end part Y in a rotary slide part of a housing 14 and a rotor 15 positioned almost in a space part between a track frame 2 and a frame 7, so as to cover this slide end part Y, an annular seal means 19 formed of an elastic body is arranged. This seal means 19 is mounted in an annular groove part 20 formed in the rotor 15, from a fixed part thereof, in a position lowered down to a peripheral surface of the housing 14, a lip part 21 is brought into contact with a peripheral surface part of the housing 14. In this way, when muddy water comes to the periphery of the slide end part Y, in the slide end part Y, by the seal means 19, foreign matter such as muddy water or the like is prevented from infiltrating.</p> |
